Community Volunteers

Role Overview:

Community Volunteers are the heart of our organization, supporting our community health center in various capacities to ensure the smooth operation of our programs and services. As a Community Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to engage directly with community members, contribute to our outreach efforts, and help create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records.
• Support our community outreach efforts by distributing flyers, organizing events, and engaging with community members.
• Provide logistical support during health fairs, workshops, and other community events.
• Assist clients with navigating our services and programs, providing guidance and information as needed.
• Help maintain a clean and organized environment in our facility.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Commitment to our mission and values of equity, compassion, and excellence.
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as needed.
• Previous experience in customer service or community engagement is a plus but not required.

Time Commitment: Flexible, based on your availability. Whether you can volunteer a few hours a week or a few days a month, your contribution will make a difference.
